If a face lift brings with it a bigger engine, the prices tend to rise as well. In the case of the Subaru Levorg, however, the opposite is the case.
In the summer of 2019, the Subaru model Levorg in Germany in a revised version in several details at the start. The most important innovation in the model year 2020 is a new two-liter boxer engine with 110 kW / 150 hp, which replaces the previous 1.6-liter turbo boxer (125 kW / 170 hp). Thanks to the new four-cylinder engine, which will meet the Euro 6d-Temp-EVAP emission standard, the mid-range station wagon can do without the visually distinctive air intake scoop in the bonnet.
As before, Subaru combines the boxer engine with permanent four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic continuously variable transmission. The sprint time is according to the manufacturer at 11.7 seconds, a maximum of 195 km / h are possible.
The Levorg will be offered in the future in the three equipment Trend, Active and Exclusive. The approximately 27,000 euros and therefore a good 3,000 euros in the lowered price base offers, among other things, an emergency brake assistant, which recognizes next to cyclists in the future, pedestrians in the dark. In addition, two-zone climate control, the infotainment system “Gen 3.1”, cruise control and light and rain sensor on board.
