At the beginning of the year Hubertus von Hohenlohe has already indicated that he wants to marry. Now it’s official: The prince has given his long-term love to Simona Gandolfi!
A “surreal life”, as he once called the “Münchner Abendzeitung”, found another highlight just a few days ago: Hubertus von Hohenlohe (60) married his longtime girlfriend Simona Gandolfi. According to the Spanish website “hola.com”, the wedding took place at the foot of the princely palace in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. There, the father of the groom, Prince Alfonso zu Hohenlohe († 79), had already married his third wife Marilys († 59).
After the wedding, the wedding party celebrated at the Hotel Sonnenhof. Among the guests were only close relatives and the witnesses. As the Spanish side reports, the mother of the groom was missing. Ira von Furstenberg (79) presented her book in London that day. The bride’s parents are said to have immortalized the couple in their married life in a special way: the wedding rings come from them. In addition, the prince and his new spouse have also had partner tattoos sting. She now wears “Hubi” on her ring finger and he “Simo”.
Last weekend, Charlotte Casiraghi married her boyfriend Dimitri Rassam. In the video below you can see the beautiful bride and groom and also learn that she had chosen a similar dress as her mother.
The wedding crowns a love that started over 25 years ago. Prince Hubertus is an avid ski racer and started in 1994 at the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, Norway. There he met the pretty Simona, a cousin of the Italian super skier Alberto Tomba.
For four years the couple were separated once, in which Simona married and had two children. But love led her back to her Hubertus. Now it should be forever.
